DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We only disclose your personal information in the following limited circumstances:

Your Consent

If you agree, we may share your information for specific purposes.

Service Providers

We use trusted third parties to provide hosting, analytics, SMS/OTP delivery, and related services. These providers may access your data only to perform services on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

Law and Harm

We may preserve or disclose your data if required by law or in good faith belief that it's necessary to:
  • Comply with legal obligations or government requests
  • Enforce our Terms of Use
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues
  • Protect the safety of any person

Business Transfers

If Grazer undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Anonymised Data

We may share aggregated or anonymised data (e.g. app usage trends) for research, analytics, or business reporting.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your data is stored securely in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area (EEA), and may be transferred outside the EEA (e.g., to the United States) when using appropriate service providers. Where we transfer your data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
We retain your personal data while your account is active. If you delete your account or request that we delete your data, we mark your data for deletion immediately and restrict all access and processing. For security, audit, and abuse prevention purposes, we retain the data in a secure, inaccessible form for 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted.
We use a combination of physical, administrative, and technical measures (including encryption, and access control) to protect your data. However, transmission over the internet is never 100% secure.

LINKS

Our App may include links to third-party platforms (e.g., social media login). If you follow a link to any of these sites, they will have their own privacy policies and terms. Grazer is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other sites.

MARKETING AND PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

We may send occasional marketing emails if you give us permission.
All push notifications are enabled by default but require your permission when you first open the app. You can change these preferences at any time through your device settings or in-app notification controls.

OUR POLICY TOWARDS AGE

Grazer is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If we become aware that someone under 18 has created an account, we will terminate the account and delete their information, except where retention is necessary to prevent repeat signups.

DATA PRIVACY CONTACT

While Grazer is not currently required to appoint a Data Protection Officer under UK GDPR, we have designated a Data Privacy Lead to oversee data protection matters.
You can contact our Data Privacy Lead at feedback@grazerapp.com with any questions, requests, or concerns relating to this Policy or your personal data.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

APP USAGE ANALYTICS

The Grazer app does not use traditional web cookies, as our platform is a native mobile app rather than a browser-based service. However, we use app-based technologies and trusted third-party providers to collect usage data, detect performance issues, and ensure security. These may include:
  • Analytics tools to understand how users interact with the app
  • Crash reporting tools to identify and resolve errors
  • Device identifiers such as your mobile device's advertising ID (e.g., IDFA for iOS or GAID for Android)
  • Secure local storage to store authentication tokens and app preferences securely on your device
You can manage some of these technologies through your device settings. For example, you can reset your advertising ID or limit ad tracking via your phone’s privacy controls.
We do not use these technologies for third-party behavioural advertising.
